Why “up to 4×”?
An old aluminium window without a thermal break and with single glazing has a thermal transmittance of about 5.7 W/m²K (IDAE reference value, Spain); a VEKA PVC window with low-e double glazing, 1 to 1.6 W/m²K. Heat loss is proportional to this transmittance (U): 3.5 to 5.7 times less.

How to look after your windows
VEKA's recommendations for its profiles.
- Clean the profiles with water, mild soap and a cloth. No scourers, powder detergents or solvents such as acetone.
- Remove the protective film from the profiles within 3 months of installation.
- Keep the drainage holes in the frame clean so water can drain away.
- Once a year, wipe the seals with a cloth and silicone lubricant, and put a few drops of oil on the hinges, locking points and handle.
- In very dusty or polluted areas, clean the profiles once a month.

How much does a PVC window cost? Guide prices (October 2026)+
Prices from, VAT included, without installation, for the basic configuration: white PVC inside and out, 4-16-4 double glazing and Winkhaus activPilot hardware. The sliding door has 4-10-4 glass and standard hardware.

What raises the price: colours and wood-effect finishes, low-e or triple glazing, a security handle, micro-lift, roller shutters and insect screens. For example, a 2-sash 130 × 120 cm Perfect Elegance window with an oak finish outside, low-e glazing and a security handle was quoted at €872 incl. VAT (August 2026).
Installation: €150 to €200 per m² incl. VAT, depending on the opening. It includes carrying the windows up to any floor, removing the old ones, sealing the joints and taking away the rubble.

Do you really charge me the same as a trade customer?+
Yes. Prices start from the same wholesale price because we import the windows ourselves. A large order from a builder has its own terms, but the starting point is the same.
How much does it cost to replace the windows of a flat?+
A flat with 5 to 7 windows, installation included, comes to between €3,600 and €9,100 incl. VAT, depending on size and finish (real quotes from 2026). A 2-sash 120 × 120 cm white PVC window costs from €375 incl. VAT without installation, and installation is €150 to €200 per m² incl. VAT. The calculator gives the exact price, and the fixed quote after the free measuring visit gives the final one.
Can I buy just the windows, without installation?+
Yes, for trade customers we offer supply-only, with no minimum order and delivery across Catalonia.
Does the measuring visit cost anything?+
No. The measuring visit is free, at your home and with no obligation. And if a window does not fit because of a measuring error on our side, we remake it and replace it free of charge.
What guarantee do the windows have?+
5 years on the windows (VEKA profile and glass, manufacturing defects) and 1 year on the installation, with hardware adjustments included during that first year. Only if you ask for it, 30 days after installation we carry out a check-up and adjustment of the windows free of charge. You get a guarantee certificate in your name, and the terms come in writing with your quote. More about guarantee and service.
Are you the manufacturer?+
No. We are importers: we buy the windows direct from the factory, made to measure with VEKA profiles, and bring them in ourselves with no distributors in Spain.
Are the windows certified?+
Yes. They meet the European window standard EN 14351-1 (CE marking), and the factories we work with are certified: one by the German institute ift Rosenheim (until 2027), and the other had its VEKA 70 and 82 windows tested in an accredited laboratory in 2026. In that test, a VEKA 70 window with triple glazing reached Uw 0.97, passed 20,000 opening cycles and the RC2N burglary test. You can see the certificates in our showroom.
PVC or aluminium if I live near the sea?+
Near the sea we recommend PVC in most cases, for three reasons. First, salt air: it does not corrode PVC, while on aluminium it attacks the powder coating, especially at the corners and cut edges of the profile, and over the years the coating can lift. If you choose aluminium, ask for a marine-grade coating (for example, with the Qualicoat Seaside label). Second, airtightness: PVC corners are welded, while aluminium corners are joined with brackets, so PVC seals better against air, water and noise. Third, insulation: a PVC profile insulates roughly twice as well as an aluminium profile with a thermal break, and many times better than old aluminium without one. In strong sun, white PVC keeps its colour best. Aluminium with a thermal break is still a good choice if you want very slim profiles or a very large window: we install it too. With either material, near the sea rinse the profiles with fresh water and lubricate the hardware once or twice a year.
How long does it take from order to installation?+
Usually about 30 working days from when you confirm the order and pay the deposit until installation. If you choose a non-standard colour, add about 2 more weeks.
How long does installation take? Is there building work?+
We install 3 or 4 windows a day when we replace aluminium windows with PVC or when the opening is already prepared: we remove the old window and fit the new one, usually with no building work. If we replace wooden windows, the job can take twice as long: removal is more complicated and the opening is often damaged and has to be repaired. If the opening needs building work, we tell you at the measuring visit and quote it separately.
Do you take away the old windows and the rubble?+
Yes, always. Removing the old windows and the rubble is included in the installation price, as is carrying the windows up to any floor and sealing the joints.
How do I pay?+
The windows are paid in three instalments: a 50% deposit when you order, 30% when we deliver the windows to the site and 20% after fitting. Installation is paid once it is finished.
